Itinerary
Your journey begins from Delhi where you will be picked up from the airport, railway station, or bus stand. From here, you will board a comfortable AC cab and set off towards the beautiful hill town of Manali. Along the way, you can admire the scenic highways, mountain ranges, and valleys as you move closer to the Himalayas. The night will be spent on the road as you travel overnight to Manali.
On arrival in Manali, you will check in at the hotel where a welcome drink awaits you. After a short rest, your local sightseeing tour will begin. You will visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, Van Vihar, and the Tibetan Monastery. Later in the evening, you can enjoy some leisure time exploring Mall Road and shopping for local handicrafts. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Manali.
Start the day with a drive to Rohtang Pass (subject to permit and weather conditions; cost directly payable to the driver), where you can enjoy stunning mountain views and snow activities. Continue the journey through the Atal Tunnel(If the road is open)—one of the world’s longest highway tunnels at this altitude—and explore Sissu, a beautiful village known for its waterfalls and scenic landscapes.
On the way back, stop at Solang Valley, famous for adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, and ATV rides (optional and at your own cost). Return to Manali by evening, relax at the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.
After breakfast, check out from the Manali hotel and drive to Kasol (75 km, 2-3 hours). En route, enjoy optional river rafting and paragliding in Kullu (at your own cost). Upon arrival, explore Kasol’s serene landscapes, vibrant cafes, and the tranquil Parvati River. Visit Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, known for its sacred hot springs, spiritual significance, and Langar. Also, explore the Ram Temple nearby. Later, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and unwind with an overnight stay in Kasol.
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Kasol and begin your scenic drive towards Shimla. The route takes you through winding mountain roads, charming villages, and lush valleys, offering stunning views of the Himalayas throughout the journey. As you leave behind the serenity of Parvati Valley, the road gradually unfolds into the colonial charm of Shimla. By evening, you will arrive in Shimla and check into your hotel. Enjoy a warm dinner and spend the night in the peaceful hill station.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Kufri, a beautiful snow spot in winter and a hub for fun activities. Visit the Himalayan Nature Park and Kufri Adventure Resort. Later, return to Shimla and visit Jakhoo Temple, the Ridge, Christ Church, and Scandal Point. Overnight stay in Shimla.
On the final day, after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Delhi. Along the way, you can once again soak in the views of the mountains and valleys as you bid farewell to the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey. This marks the end of your memorable Manali–Shimla tour filled with unforgettable experiences.

Advisory
- Stay hydrated: Carry enough water and other fluids to stay hydrated throughout the yatra. It's important to drink water regularly, especially at higher altitudes.
- Check the weather: The weather conditions in the Kedarnath region can be unpredictable, so it's important to check the weather forecast before starting your journey. Avoid traveling during the monsoon season (July to September) when the region experiences heavy rainfall and landslides.
- Acclimatize properly: Kedarnath is located at an altitude of over 11,000 feet, so it's important to acclimatize properly. Spend a couple of days in nearby towns like Guptkashi, Gaurikund, or Sonprayag before starting the yatra.
- Pack wisely: Pack light and carry only the essentials. Make sure you have enough warm clothes, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and a first-aid kit. You can also rent or buy trekking equipment from nearby towns.
- Follow the Yatra route: Stick to the designated Yatra route and avoid taking shortcuts. This helps preserve the fragile ecosystem of the region and minimizes the impact on the environment.
- Respect local customs: Kedarnath is a holy site for Hindus, and it's important to respect the local customs and traditions. Dress appropriately and seek permission before entering any religious sites.
- Hire a guide/porter: Hiring a guide or porter can make the Yatra easier and safer. They can provide valuable information about the Yatra route, carry your luggage, and help in case of an emergency.
- Be prepared for emergencies: The Kedarnath Yatra is remote, and medical facilities are limited. Carry a first-aid kit and any necessary medications. It's also a good idea to have a satellite phone or other communication device in case of an emergency.
- Leave no trace: Respect the environment and leave no trace behind. Carry all your trash and dispose of it properly at the end of the yatra.
